The world is too large and we have so much little time to explore it. I wish I could have wings and keep flying to the unknown and unexplored destinations to relish the beauty of nature. Being a citizen of a diverse country like India there are many places on my list of holiday destinations; but the most cherished of all the places is Kashmir, paradise. Kashmir is endowed with natural beauty from the silver snow clad mountain peaks and the majestic lakes to the flora and fauna.

Sonmarg, a place 80km from Srinagar has floral meadows, plateaus and snowy peaks that kiss the sky. Gulmarg, as the name suggests is a ‘meadow of flowers’ with emerald green plateaus and silver peaks which reflect the golden sun rays giving an enchanted view to the plateau. The Dal Lake is a hot spot for lovers given the panoramic view of the surroundings and the romantic boat ride across the lake. Kashmir is indeed heaven on earth.
